Providing Scholarships and Related Financial Assistance for Low-Income, Minority Students at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco
New Roads Education Fund Scholarships are available to low-income, minority students who have applied to attend St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco.
Prospective applicants will be 8th grade students in good standing and with superior academic records.
New Roads Education Fund has a preference for applicants from Bay Area catholic elementary schools, which have traditionally prepared students for the rigor and discipline of a college preparatory curriculum; and from St. Ignatius’ Magis Middle School Program which accomplishes the same focused preparation during summer and year-round after-school and weekend programs.
St. Ignatius College Preparatory admits students from all faiths and backgrounds, and The New Roads Education Fund’s preference is not intended to exclude applicants from public and other private schools.
Applicants must have applied for admission to St. Ignatius College Preparatory, met all application requirements and deadlines, and registered for, and taken, the SI admissions exam. New Road Education Fund Scholarships are granted to qualified low-income, minority students who have been accepted at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Timely fulfillment of St. Ignatius’ application requirements is essential.
Applicants will have completed their financial need package, and confirmed their diversity status.
Applicants will have submitted their New Roads Education Fund Application at the same time as, or before, the close of applications at St. Ignatius College Preparatory.
